Denmark, master's admission
Find out what you need to submit, what previous studies meet the general entry requirements, how to meet the English requirement and any special instructions for your country of study.
Meeting the general entry requirements
For entry to a Master's programme, the minimum requirement is a 180 ECTS Bachelor’s degree, Professionsbachelor, Cand. phil., Cand. Scient., or the equivalent.
- If you have a top-up Bachelor's degree or if part of your degree studies were completed in a country other than Denmark, please remember to submit documentation (copies of transcripts and degree certificate, if applicable) of these previous academic studies. Your documentation must clearly state that these credits were accepted by the Danish institution, either as transfer credits or as prerequisites for entering the programme.
Meeting the English requirement
You can meet the English requirement with your upper secondary studies with:
- English Niveau A
- English Niveau B if you graduated 2008 and later
If you’re documenting your English based on your upper secondary studies, you must provide documentation that demonstrates you meet the requirement. Please submit your upper secondary documents according to the instructions for bachelor’s level studies.
You can also demonstrate that you meet the English language requirement through certain university studies, or an internationally approved English test.
