Applicants to the First round only receive one admissions notification. You do not need to reply 'Yes' to courses and programmes on Universityadmissions.se to keep your place. Please note that the university may contact you and require a deadline for you to accept your offer.
You should, however, be sure to decline any places you don't wish to keep in order to let the university know you won't be attending and free up your place for someone else on the waiting list.
Yes, you can answer yes to more than one. There are a few ways you can do this:
If you reply 'Yes' to both the reserve and admitted selections, you will hold your admitted place for the second selection and then be considered again for a place in the programme in which you've been placed on reserve. If you are offered a place in the reserve programme, the other programme will be deleted. If you are not offered a place in the reserve programme, you will still have a place in the lower ranked programme you were admitted to.
If you reply 'Yes' to the reserve, but not to the admitted programme you will only be considered for the reserve programme in the second round. There is no guarantee you will be offered a place and if you are not, the programme in which you were admitted and replied 'No' to will have been deleted. You will therefore have no programmes you've been admitted to.
If you reply 'No' to the reserve and 'Yes' to the admitted programme, you will still have your admitted place after the second round but will not be considered for the programme in which you've been placed on reserve. That programme will be deleted after your reply.
You must answer yes to any courses/programmes you wish to keep going into the second selection. If you're no longer interested in a reserve place, answer no.
If you've applied for the Second round and were placed on reserve (waiting list) on a higher ranked choice, and offered a place in a lower ranked choice, you can reply to your notification in a few different ways, with different results:
If you reply 'Yes' to both the reserve and admitted selections, you will hold your admitted place for the second selection where you will be considered again for a place in the programme you've been placed on reserve.
