There are important things to keep in mind, as well as special instructions, for International and European Baccalaureate students.

Students who have completed their IB/EB programme at the time of application

If you have already completed your IB/EB programme, and are a citizen of an EU/EEA country, you are welcome to apply to the First or Second admission round. Follow the instructions for documenting your eligibility in this section.

If you have completed your IB/EB programme but are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, we recommend that you only apply to the First admission round. The Second admission round has much later deadlines and students will not receive their admission decisions until July. This time frame makes it impossible for non-EU/EES students to have enough time to apply for and receive a residence permit in time for studies in August. Please apply to the First admission round.

Students who have not yet completed their IB/EB programme

First admission round applications

If you have not yet completed your IB/EB programme, do not apply to the First admission round. University Admissions will not be able to evaluate your application in time for admission decisions in March, as we need to have your completed IB/EB transcript and diploma in order to do so.

Second admission round applications

If you have not yet completed your IB/EB programme, but are in your last year at the time of application - and are a citizen of an EU/EEA - you are welcome to apply to the Second admission round.
